What We Build / 01

Every Kind of Deck a Nashville Backyard Can Hold

01

Composite & Wood Decks

Ground-level platforms, attached decks, and full outdoor living floors in composite decking or pressure-treated and cedar lumber. Flashed ledgers, footings poured to depth, and hidden fasteners where the board line allows. Start with composite deck construction in Nashville or compare it against wood deck building and we will price both.

02

Elevated, Covered & Multi-Level Decks

Second-story walkouts, decks on sloped lots, stairs, landings, and covered sections that keep the rain off. Structure comes first: beam sizing, post placement, and railing systems that pass inspection the first time. See how we handle elevated and multi-level deck construction.

03

Pergolas & Pavilions

Cedar and timber-frame shade structures, attached or freestanding, over decks and patios. If you want the backyard to feel like a room instead of a slab, this is the fastest way there. Our pergola builders in Nashville handle design, footings, and finish.

Deck Replacement & Repair

Old deck past its prime? We resurface sound frames with new decking and railing, and tear out and rebuild the ones that are not worth saving. Honest assessment either way. Read more about deck replacement in Nashville.

Why Us / 02

Decks Are Not a Sideline Here. They Are the Whole Business.

Plenty of general contractors in Nashville will bolt a deck onto the end of a bigger job. We do the opposite: decks, porches, and pergolas are all we do, every week, in every season Middle Tennessee throws at us. That focus shows up in the details you cannot see from the lawn chair.

  • A written quote with a real number, not an estimate that drifts once work starts.
  • Permits pulled and inspections scheduled through Metro Codes when the project needs them.
  • Footings sized for the load and poured below frost depth, not set on surface blocks.
  • Ledger boards flashed and fastened to structure, the detail that keeps water out of your house.
  • Job site cleaned up daily. Your yard is not a staging area.

Questions / 05

Straight Answers Before You Call

Do you build decks in my part of Nashville?

Almost certainly. We build across Davidson County, from East Nashville and Inglewood to Green Hills, Bellevue, and Antioch, plus every surrounding county. If you are within about 45 minutes of downtown Nashville, we will come take a look.

Should I pick composite or wood decking?

Composite costs more up front and almost nothing after that. Wood costs less on day one and asks for stain or sealer every couple of years. In Middle Tennessee humidity, composite earns its price on decks that get full sun or sit under tree cover. We install both and will price both if you are on the fence.

How much does a new deck cost in Nashville?

It depends on size, materials, and how high off the ground the framing has to go. Pressure-treated wood costs the least up front, composite costs more, and elevated or covered builds run above ground-level platforms. Rather than guessing from averages, we walk your site and hand you an exact written number before any work starts.

Do I need a permit for a deck in Nashville?

Usually yes. Metro Nashville requires a building permit for most attached and elevated decks, and the surrounding counties have their own rules. We handle the permit and schedule the inspections as part of the job, so you never deal with the codes office yourself.

How long does a deck build take?

Once materials are on site, most decks take one to two weeks of build time. Pergolas usually go up in two to four days. Lead time before that depends on the season, permits, and material availability, and we give you a realistic start window with your quote.

Do you tear out and replace old decks?

Yes. Replacement is a big part of our work. If your framing is still sound we can resurface with new decking and railing for less than a full rebuild. If it is not, we will show you why and quote a full replacement.
